Known Issues: - Older save files may experience slight rollbacks, restarting the current dialogue or scene. - Rolling back immediately after loading an old save may cause display errors in the relationships screen. (Note that this will give you all the evidence, but that you may want to explore other fates by completing this with less evidence). - D41: Emilie is now sensible and will no longer order a cocktail at the nightclub if she's pregnant. - D42: Rework of Lea's blowjob animation. MC no longer merges with the bathtub and the camera angles have been adjusted. New achievements screen: - This can be accessed from the main menu and the game menu. - It's retroactive, so all you have to do is load a savegame where you've already completed some of them for them to unlock. - Note that the first load may take a little longer than usual when synchronising your achievements. Other user interface updates: - Added French translation of the first two weeks of the game - Reorganisation of the main girls and side characters in the relationships screen. - Updated the gallery with the new h-scenes of the episode (Note that some non-animated scenes are not present). - The gallery unlocker is now more clearly accessible via the top-left button (renamed "gallery option" instead of "naming option"). Note that it requires you to complete the game at least once to use it. - Visual rework of the AlwaysFan site (accessible from the game menu) with the possibility to subscribe to trending girls whose list evolves over time. This has no impact on the story, it is only to give more "realism" to the site (and add some lewd images...). - Added a file explorer so you can review photos you've taken or received that aren't published on AlwaysFan (This can be accessed via the button at the bottom of the AlwaysFan site, which will flash slightly if you have unlocked a new image). - Added some dialogue between Emilie and the MC when choosing the girl's name when you use the names of other main girls in the story. - Emilie will no longer accept the names ‘Robert’ and ‘Marcus’ for a son (this change is not effective on saves from previous versions). - Removed all the white flashing screens during photo shoots and h-scenes. - A warning message about photosensitivity and the minimum age for playing is displayed when the game is launched for the first time. Emilie will no longer mention this when you start a new game. A warning recommending the use of headphones and a language selection screen have also been added. - Emilie will now warn you during the intro that another important character is named Marcus/Robert/Jason/Nicolas if you choose one of these names. Android version: Unfortunately I won't be able to compile a .apk file of this version, as the limit imposed by Google is 2GB maximum for these files, whereas the compressed version is 2.4GB. However, you will be able to play the game on an Android device thanks to the JoiPlay emulator (downloadable from their website), using either the PC version or the compressed version. I would like to apologise to Android users for this inconvenience, which is beyond my control. Miscellaneous: - The summer menu background has been replaced by an animated version. - Other minor text corrections. Developer's note: This “1.0” version concludes the AlwaysFan story, so there will be no more new content after that. However, there could still be one or more minor updates containing bug fixes if any, as well as the game's French translation (Don't expect it for several months), but these small updates will not add content to the story. I would like to take this opportunity to thank once again all those who have supported this project. AlwaysFan was basically a trial run for me to learn how to use all the tools needed to create a Renpy game, and the game was much more successful than I imagined. I've even lengthened the game's lifespan a little, because in my original plans, the game was supposed to stop after the kidnapping case had been solved. I've learned a lot in the process, including a few mistakes I won't be making again in future projects. It's hard for me to say goodbye to Emilie and the other characters whose stories I've been writing for almost 3 years (writing having started at the end of November 2021), but I'm keen to start a new game on a sound footing, with better rendering, simplified code, and lots of new characters to introduce you to. This project will be very different from AlwaysFan, but I'll tell you about it shortly after the public release of this version 1.0.

(I got a lot of feedback that this quiz was too hard and/or too long and that it was boring to look for the answers on the net. I think this is the best compromise for those who want to try it legit and those who don't want to bother) UI: - New wallpaper and music for the main menu. - Added a new in-game menu "Your AlwaysFan" allowing you to access at any time of the game the pictures taken during the photoshoots. - Emilie will now ask you at the beginning of the game if you want to activate the quick menu or not. - Added an option in the preference menu to activate the quick menu (permanently), for those who have accidentally disabled it or have played a previous version of the game. - Optimization of the night scene reruns code. - Optimization of the gallery allowing to hide the interface, to access the menu, quick menu and to roll back as in game. Bug Fix: - Fixed a bug in the gallery that set Cassandra's relationship to sex mate instead of childhood friend and remained so for the rest of the game if you play one of her scenes just before starting a new game. (thanks Zeanrith for pointing this out) - Fixed a bug that caused the quick menu to disappear permanently after day 11. Know issues: Android version: - When you close the game without going through the main menu, the gallery doesn't update sometimes, this is unfortunately a limitation of renpy that I can not bypass because Persistants are not saved correctly. So think to go back through the main menu before closing the game. - The quiz help tooltips may overlap the answers on phone screens, however you can still click through or roll back to clear the tooltip.
